Holy Family Sports Day Tuesday 21st May 2019

This year's Sports Day was a fantastic occasion with everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves. All teams gave their very best and had lots of fun whilst doing so. We even had a race for mums and dads. Have a look at some of the pictures.

Ben Smith Visits

We were privileged and pleased to receive a visit from Ben Smith today.

He has run 401 marathons in 401 days, raising money for anti-bullying charities.  He talked passionately about his love of running and inspired us all to think about the limitations we personally place on ourselves and how these can be overcome with a little bit of faith and belief.  By doing this we can all reach our full potential.

Dodgeball

On Tuesday some pupils from Year 3 & 4 went to Carr Hill High School to take part in the Primary School's Dodgeball competition.

The children played very well and were great ambassadors for our school!

They came second overall which is fantastic!

Christmas Panto Day

Today the whole school went to the Pantomime, Snow White & the Seven Dwarves at Lowther Gardens.

It was a fantastic show and the children really loved it (and the adults too!).

The children all behaved very well and were a credit to our school.

A lovely way to celebrate Christmas together.

Music Concert

The children in Y5/6 were fantastic this afternoon in their final musical performance of the year. Well done!
