Young Voices
2nd February!
WOW! What an amazing time we had at Young Voices! Despite being (very) late home and a little tired, we had the time of our lives! The children were impeccably behaved and many thanks to all the staff who gave up their time (and sleep) to attend.
'The best thing ever!' - Lucy
'My favourite song was Pop medley' - Esther
'The Beatbox Collective were amazing' - Annie

This year at Holy Family we have a very exciting opportunity to participate as part of the 'Young Voices' choir.
Young Voices combines the power of singing together as one, with accompaniment from a wide range of musicians and artists, to create an amazing performance.
Every year, schools across the country practise music in class with their teachers to prepare themselves to take part in these massive concerts. Over the years the children in the choir have performed with artists such as Alexandra Burke, Joss Stone, and Gary Barlow as well as raising over 1 million pounds for Children’s charities such as CLIC Sargent. We are hoping for someone very special this year!
With a full live band, backing singers and the internationally acclaimed conductor David Lawrence, it makes for one of the most exciting and memorable musical experiences you can imagine. The videos on youtube and on their website (http://www.youngvoices.co.uk/) simply bring Goosebumps to your arms and send a shiver down your spine!
This event is due to take place on Thursday 2nd Feburary, at the Manchester arena (Formally the MEN). Choir club will be for 30 minutes each Wednesday lunchtime, with more practices closer to the time.
