Holy Family Catholic Primary School

Love one another as I have loved you.

Mission Statement

At Holy Family we live out our school mission statement in all that we do. We are all trying to:

'Love one another as much as Jesus loves us'

Mission and Vision | About Us | University of the Incarnate Word

Our school is distinctive in that it is a Catholic school.

Governors and Staff see the school as a place where Christian values are paramount, where children are given every opportunity to develop intellectually, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally, and where all members of staff are valued for their contribution to the educational standards of the school through their teaching or related work, their commitment, and their example.  Parents and Parish are recognised as important contributors to this ethos and, as even our name implies, we see ourselves as a Christian family committed to the fullest possible development of our children.  This is reflected in our mission statement and general aims which follow.

When interpreting the Mission Statement for pupils we say that at Holy Family School our mission is to:

‘Love and take care of each other as Jesus taught us to’.

Our Mission Statement encompasses everyone involved in our school - children, parents, staff and governors. It is clearly understood by all, underpinning all we do in school and determining our our whole purpose and ethos.

We firmly believe that wherever you are in our school you will see our mission statement being lived - in class, in the playground and in our interactions and love of each other, as we strive to 'Love one another as Jesus loves us'
